Home Solar Energy System Saves You Money!

Hi, Darren here,

home solar energy systemThis is  how I built a home solar energy system and cut our electricity consumption by 68%, if you don’t want to read it or you’re in a hurry you can  Click Here to see how you can do the same!

I began researching a home solar energy system because my family and I wanted to reduce our carbon foot-print. We are concerned about the environment and wanted to decrease the effect that our everyday living was having on it. We’ve been recycling for a few years but we decide we needed to do more.

Our boys are young and we would like to make sure that when their children grow up they can enjoy all the things that we love to do. Things like camping, hiking, fishing and the great outdoors in general.

So I started looking for ways that we could reduce our energy consumption. Our largest monthly bill is our electricity bill. I figured reducing it or even eliminating it would be a good first step. When I began researching home solar power systems I was startled by the actual cost of these systems. They can run anywhere from $5,000 to $17,000 depending on the size of your home! And that doesn’t include installation! It would take years of use before you could offset the cost of the initial purchase! With today’s economy buying a system was out of the question.

I started looking into a DIY home solar energy system.

There are a few on the market but getting enough good information on them was a little difficult. I wanted to know things like; how much it would cost, how hard are they to build, how big it would need to be, how do I get the power it generates into my house, what happens when the sun isn’t shining, how much power would this home solar energy system actually produce, what if it produces more energy then we actually use. These were all important question for me to answer.

I found the Earth4Energy system; it was the only diy home solar energy system that answered all of my questions. It’s an easy to follow step by step system. It had all the support I needed, simple to follow illustrations, video walk through and if I was really stuck there was live support when I needed it.

Detailed, step-by-step video instructions that take you by the hand and walk you through each and every step until you have your own home solar energy system.

Everything was there;

  • how much it would cost
  • a parts list with cost saving recommendations
  • how to build it
  • where to position it for maximum efficiency
  • how to get the power into the house and connect it safely
  • how and where to store the excess power
  • how to protect it for the elements
  • how to connect it to the grid if I wanted
  • how to mount the solar panels to my roof
  • even how to get the batteries for free!

The best part about this home solar energy system is I was able to build it for just over $200! For that price I can afford to build enough of them to take our house completely off the power grid.

After I installed Earth4Energy the very next month we saved 68% on our electricity bill! I’m working on building our 3rd one right now, heck I might even go into business for myself, building and selling them!

Advantages Of Solar Power…

In this day and age, pretty much everyone knows that we need to start focusing on renewable sources of energy. Solar power is one of the most talked about. Of course, it’s no surprise since using the power of the sun has been around in some form since the dawn of time. There are many advantages to using solar power both for homes and businesses.

One of the biggest advantages is that solar power is renewable.  While it might be stronger in some areas and there could be rainy days when no sun is available, no matter how much solar power we use, we will never deplete the resource.  This is in sharp contrast to the fossil fuels we use now which are dwindling in supply.

Also, unlike fossil fuels, solar power does not harm the environment.  There are no byproducts of solar power that leach into the air and create pollution or contribute to greenhouse gasses.  In addition, acquiring the power is not intrusive to the environment like some other forms of energy.  About the most intrusive part would be the solar panels which are well suited in most areas to fit snugly on the roof.

When using solar power for your home, you can be a self contained unit.  While it might not be practical in some areas to rely solely on the sun for power, other, less developed,  areas might benefit immensely by being able to power homes and schools with the sun without having to install power plants and run electrical cables.   In areas where there is not enough sunlight for household needs, systems can be setup so that you can hook into the electrical grid during those times when more energy is needed.

After the initial set-up costs, gathering power from the sun is free so once you have your collection and storage systems set up, you will be reaping the benefits not only in the monthly savings but also in the benefits to our planet.

Home Solar Energy System, Reduce Your Energy Bill

Home Solar Energy System
A home solar energy system is a great way to reduce your monthly energy bill and decrease your dependency on your power company.  Along with saving you hundreds and potentially thousands of dollars per year, they help reduce harmful greenhouse gas. We should all be doing our part to conserve our environment for our children and future generations that will have to deal with what WE leave behind!!

With a home solar energy system is you are unaffected by power interruptions

Put enough of these portable solar energy panels together and you will be able to remove your house from the power grid altogether. It can give you an enormous sense of freedom. Even better you can potentially produce enough solar power to run everything in your house and the surplus that you produce can be sold back to the power company. Talk about a win-win situation for you!

With a home solar energy system you keep more of your hard earned money

Wouldn’t it be nice to actually keep some of your hard earn cash for yourself, instead of lining those FAT CAT Energy Companies pockets? They are always raising our rates stating that its due to the cost of producing the energy, and in the end they always show huge “millions of dollars” profit margins for their investors. Think about it for a moment; depending on your usage, you could be saving a few thousand dollars per year, to do with whatever you choose.

Renewable energy is the way of the future. The sooner more of us get on the program the better off our environment will be.
